A beautiful business by Natasha Turner
New mothers are used to sleepless nights, but Natasha Turner, a beauty therapist in our Kings Hill, admits that launching her new business two weeks after giving birth to her first child didn’t help. After hearing this story, we felt it was imperative to interview Natasha Turner to hear her tips and tricks for managing a business successfully, even with a new-born!
Rising to the challenge
After six years of hard work, dedication and sleepless nights, Natasha grew her business from a small client base as a mobile beauty therapist before moving to a studio at Churchill Square Business Centre in February last year. Somehow, she also found time for a second child too!
“I have had many sleepless nights over whether this is the right time, right place, whether I can dedicate enough time to the business with two young children…However, I never imagined how supportive my clients would all be and with that knew I had to take the plunge!”

Today, Natasha offers a variety of services, including micro-needling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, nail and lash extensions and waxing.
“My clients want powerhouse treatments with all the feel of a spa and relaxation. I feel that these are divided currently in the beauty industry.”
Of her many services, micro-needling is a favourite of Natasha’s. The treatment targets fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, acne scarring, pore size and pigmentation.
“I love results-driven treatments, and clients that are willing to listen and trust in my work.”
Choosing Churchill Square
Our Churchill Square location was expanded in 2018, providing space for 30 additional companies.
“I chose this location as I needed a facility that was safe, with an intercom system, and was flexible with my working hours. The staff have also been so accommodating and are always at the end of the phone if I need them.”
Business tips
Natasha offers her tips and tricks for anyone wanting to set up a new business venture.
“The piece of advice I give to everyone is just keep learning, practising and advancing your skills; trends are ever changing so keeping up with them is important. While it can be tempting to stick with the tried-and-true things your company has done over the years, integrating trends as they come up will set you apart from your competition.”
Growth and future plans
Natasha has big plans for her business. After recently hiring a semi-permanent make-up artist, she now wants to expand her team to include a variety of additional specialists. She also hopes to develop a new website with an online booking system for her clients, as well as provide a variety of new treatments such as new dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments, and laser hair removal.
Natasha’s hard work isn’t going unnoticed as she was recently selected as a finalist in the 2022 UK Hair and Beauty Awards. She comments:
“I was thrilled to find out I was shortlisted for the finals – something I never thought would have been possible having only been open at Churchill Square for one month… but if you really want to catch your dreams, you have to chase them.”
We are really proud of what our customer has accomplished; Natasha demonstrates how hard work pays off. We can’t wait to see what 2022 holds for By Natasha Turner and look forward to supporting this business’ growth in the next year and beyond.
