Supporting a global family-owned business
Global Credit Recoveries, like many of our customers, is a business which outgrew its initial location: the “home office.” Since its inception by father and son team Charles and Joshua Mayhew, it has grown into a successful global company, with offices in the Middle East and at our business centre in Kings Hill. Joshua shared their story with us and how their offices in Churchill Business Centre have given them the perfect space for their team of eight to operate effectively.
Standing out in the debt-collection field
Having recently won the Debt Collection Agency of the Year award in 2023, Global Credit Recoveries are clearly doing something right. With Charles’ decades worth of expertise in the field, alongside their human approach, Joshua revealed what he thinks makes them different:
“Our business motto is ‘Companies owe money, people pay bills’, and it comes down to a human-centric approach you know. We’re all human so we say: speak to people how you would want to be spoken to, respect people and take the time to understand.”
Space to operate without interruption
As your business and team grows, so does your need for workspace in which you and your team can operate without disturbing each other. This was one of the key reasons for Global Credit Recoveries to expand into Capital Space. Joshua explained the predicament:
“We definitely had the need for me to have my own office, have our own meeting room and then have a bigger office for the team to sit in and make as much noise as they want without interrupting me.”
What’s so great about our facilities and our team
Joshua explained the benefits of accessing the centre’s facilities as and when is needed: “It’s great that we also have the ability to use the fully-fledged meeting rooms with the coffee machines and breakout rooms – that’s really helpful. It’s also nice to be surrounded by a lot of like-minded, similar-sized businesses.”
Our team will always rally around to support our customers in every way that they can and be the welcoming face to their business’ clients, as Joshua shared:
“The management team within the reception office here are fantastic. They’re very much on the ball. I can’t speak highly enough for them; they will bend over backwards for your team. And the facilities are always clean and presentable, so when we’re welcoming clients we’re not concerned about what their first impression of us will be.”
What does the future hold for Global Credit Recoveries?
Joshua shared that they are hoping to further expand into the Middle East, as they currently have a team of two working out of their office in Dubai. He explained:
“We’re particularly busy out there and we’re looking at taking some extra staff on the credit control side of things. I think the key thing for us is just continuing to strive to improve and find ways of improving with our current clients. Anyone else that we get on board is fantastic, but if we can just nurture and love our existing clients and they’re happy with us, then we’re really happy with what we’re doing.”
