Health’s Angels: How Kinesiology is transforming wellness in Kings Hill
Vanessa Sullivan, founder of Health’s Angels, is no stranger to transformation. Her journey began over 25 years ago when a battle with her health led her to explore alternative wellness treatments. A recommendation from a friend introduced her to the Rejuva Detox programme, and the results were life-changing. Not only did her health improve dramatically, but the experience inspired a career shift from media publishing to holistic wellness.
A passion for wellness and kinesiology
Kinesiology, a lesser-known but powerful holistic therapy, became the cornerstone of Vanessa’s work. “It’s is a form of muscle testing that communicates with the body to identify physical, emotional, and nutritional imbalances,” she explains. By treating the whole person rather than just symptoms, Vanessa has helped numerous customers improve their overall health. From children with food sensitivities to adults dealing with conditions such as fibromyalgia, her method addresses a wide range of wellness concerns.
Alongside kinesiology, Vanessa specialises in the Rejuva Detox programme, a flagship treatment at her Kings Hill clinic. This innovative process combines detoxification, toning, and lymphatic drainage to remove toxins and improve overall wellness. “The results are amazing,” she says. “In just a few weeks, customers can lose up to 15 inches off their body, if they stick to the Mediterranean diet that goes with it.”
The Move to Kings Hill
After running a successful clinic in Bexley Village, Vanessa set her sights on expanding and moved into Churchill Square Business Centre. Having close ties to the area, it felt like a natural fit. However, the practicalities of running a business were also a key consideration. “You’ve got excellent parking, excellent facilities and you’ve got loads of aestheticians, counsellors, dentists and hairdressers, “she said, “Elsewhere the parking is a nightmare, and it just puts people off”. The centre’s location and amenities allow her to focus on her work—helping people—rather than the logistical challenges of managing a large facility.
What’s next for Health’s Angels?
Since opening her Kings Hill clinic in January 2025, Vanessa has been busy building connections in the local community. Plans include launching a children’s health clinic, offering workshops on kinesiology, and expanding awareness of her treatments. “The biggest challenge is getting people to understand what kinesiology is,” she admits. However, to spread awareness, Vanessa offers free consultations and demonstrations to help clients experience the benefits first-hand with no obligations.
Vanessa’s ultimate goal is simple: to share the life-changing impact of kinesiology and holistic wellness with as many people as possible. Whether it’s helping with type 2 diabetes, alleviating chronic pain, or improving digestive health, she wants to bring awareness to the amazing results holistic wellness can bring.
Tips for small business success
Vanessa’s journey hasn’t been without challenges, and she’s keen to share her insights with other SMEs:
- Passion is key: “You’ve got to have so much passion for what you do, don’t do it because of money or status”.
- Outsource strategically: If you are not good at an aspect that is needed, don’t be afraid to outsource, this will give you more time to focus on the parts you are good at.
- Embrace feedback: Asking for feedback is critical, whether it’s from friends, family, or customers. Especially on your ideas and marketing—it’s invaluable.
For anyone in Kings Hill looking for a holistic approach to wellness, Health’s Angels offers a range of treatments designed to get to the root cause of health issues. With a warm, welcoming atmosphere and Vanessa’s expertise, customers are in good hands.
