Another successful move into Croydon Business Centre
The café at our Croydon centre has had a revamp, after being taken over in March by catering veteran Banshanbor Lyngdoh.
We caught up with Banshanbor to find out about his experience moving into Croydon Capital Business Centre and to get some more information about the exciting new menu items that are appealing to his growing customer base.
How to make your new business venture stand out
Having previously worked in outdoor catering, Banshanbor decided on a change of lifestyle and is now using his skillset in his new café at Capital Business Centre in Croydon. Since opening Bea’s Café, Banshanbor has been attracting our business centre’s customers with his broad menu. He said: “I have a special which changes everyday and I do a different kind of food to what you might expect to find. For example, I do an English breakfast, but I make sure it’s not greasy like it is in your typical café and I also always have healthy options too. Everything is always fresh.”
Joining the Capital Space business community
One advantage about basing your business in one of our centres is that we offer not only a space but also a network of SMEs. Banshanbor told us how his accountant, who also works in the centre, referred him to us. He went on to say that taking over the space was simple, explaining that the team at the centre made the process as smooth as possible: “The team are really helpful and have made it really easy for me, and they come in almost every day for a coffee. It’s great to have them supporting me.”
Attracting new customers to the Croydon Capital Business Centre
While it is early days, Banshanbor said that he is still settling in but is hoping to reach even more of Croydon’s community and attract local residents. We are looking forward to supporting Banshanbor as his café continues to flourish and are delighted to hear he is enjoying being at our Croydon centre.
