Sweet Success For Growing Makeup Business
Makeup Candy began in the spare room of founder Twyla Kakubo, who wanted to boost her income by selling makeup, beauty products and accessories on e-bay. With an emphasis on friendly, professional service and authentic products from respected brands, the business quickly took off. Adding new lines and beginning to sell on Amazon as well, Twyla soon outgrew her spare room.
When looking for an office that would meet her current and future needs, parking and flexibility were top of Twyla’s priority list: “We were looking for a place with parking that wasn’t too far from the centre of town. We also knew that, as an expanding business, we would have to scale up in the future, and CapitalSpace offered us this. Having great staff on site to greet us with a smile every morning is a bonus!”
Makeup Candy’s plans for the next five years include building their own website and increasing their product lines: “CapitalSpace offers us the ability to scale up or down and supports our future plans.” For a company that has grown so far with an emphasis on customer service, their yardstick for success is perhaps not surprising: “We measure out success by how many happy customers we have.”
We look forward to helping Makeup Candy meet the needs of their growing customer base in the years to come.
