Sharon Centre Manager I joined CapitalSpace at the start of 2018 as a deputy centre manager and I’m loving my new role as acting centre manager whilst Michelle is away. I am working with a brilliant team. Every day is different. I am learning all the time, for example, I had never patched a phone before, but now I can. I wasn’t IT savvy before but I’m getting there. For me, it’s brilliant…I like to test my brain cells!

I also love the customers too – they are all very friendly and often come to reception for a chat and some sweets! The team I work with are fantastic, everyone helps each other.

In my spare time, I love to dance, salsa, jive, ceroc and 50’s stroll, I am also a qualified reflexologist and masseur so I keep busy delivering treatments to family and friends.

Jeannene Deputy Centre Manager My job is very varied from day to day – one minute I could be taking calls on behalf of our customer, the next I will be photocopying or showing a potential customer our office space. The thing I love most about it, is the variety of people I meet everyday in providing Centre based services that we offer.

I love to spend time with my friends and family, eating out, shopping and partying. I like to keep fit by going to the gym in my spare time.

If I did not work for Capital Space I would love to be a midwife.

Catherine Business Support Co-ordinator I love a job that gives variety in the working day and The Waterhouse Business Centre certainly ticks that box! A busy and happy working environment is provided by a wide range of clients using the Centre and its facilities.

I love the outdoors and spend a lot of my spare time outside in the garden, at my allotment, or off visiting towns/villages for a walk round. My other great loves are charity shops, junk shops and car boot sales.

My house is a good mixture of all sorts of things! After all that fresh air and rooting around in shops, I love a good coffee and a slice of cake!

Amanda Business Support Co-ordinator My role as Business Support Co-ordinator is varied and no two days are the same. I love working in an environment where you get to meet lots of different people on a daily basis. I have always enjoyed working front of house and I used to work as a reception manager at the David Lloyd Club which I thoroughly enjoyed.

In my spare time I enjoy spending it with my family and socialising with friends. I love eating out, reading a good book and if I’m felling energetic enough, I enjoy running.

Alan Facilities Handyperson I have worked at Waterhouse Business Centre for five-and-a-half years and enjoy every moment. Customer, contractors and the rest of the team are very friendly. No two days are the same as you never know what a day might bring.
Away from work, I enjoy F1 and fiddling about with car engines.

Jay Facilities Handyperson I have worked at Waterhouse Business Centre for two years. I love the variety of work and meeting customers. The centre is very friendly and extremely busy – no two days are the same.
I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my new grandson, when not working.
