Our meeting rooms were renamed in 2020 to reflect Croydon’s local history. It is thought that Croydon’s name is taken from the Anglo Saxon words ‘Croh-Denu’, which means “Valley of the Crocus”. This sug gests that the Romans farmed crocus flowers in Croydon for their saffron, a valuable spice used in food. Our meeting rooms are now called: Iris, Saffron, Crocus, Valley and Crocus Valley.
All of our rooms can be configured to provide the ideal setting for your meeting supported by the latest audio-visual technology, refreshments and catering options. In addition, we have ample, free onsite parking for anyone booking our Croydon meeting rooms. Our full focus is to help you with the smooth running of your event, including providing a meet and greet service for your visitors. With a professional, friendly management team right on hand, Capital Business Centre is the perfect location to enhance your business.
