Churchill Square celebrates 20 years

Churchill Square Business Centre – a brief history

Capital Space has supported local businesses at Churchill Square since 2002. Located at Kings Hill, near Maidstone, Churchill Square is on one of the most prestigious developments in the South East. Amazingly, the site was a RAF airbase in the Second World War, playing a pivotal role in Britain’s aerial efforts.

2018 saw expansion with the £3.6 million development of Building 80, providing space for 30 additional companies, plus new, high-spec reception facilities. Today, Churchill Square is home to a wide variety of businesses across many different sectors.

MP Tom Tugendhat to visit Churchill Square Business Centre

We’re delighted that Tonbridge and Malling MP Tom Tugendhat will be joining us in Kings Hill for the event. It’s testament to Churchill Square’s achievement that such an esteemed guest will be in attendance.

Capital Space founder, Peter Boam will also be with us on the day to enjoy live music from singer Mat Roberts and complimentary BBQ food from Thyme 2 Dine, a café caterer.

Chances to win in the charity raffle and awards

Guests will have the chance to win, alongside many other wonderful prizes, a luxury hamper, and ice creams courtesy of Churchill Square customers, The One Shot Corporation Ltd.

Awards will also be given to customers leading up to the event which will recognise longevity, personality and some more light-hearted categories. Here are a few examples of the awards:

• Longest serving customer (onsite and virtual)
• Customer with the most units
• Coffee fiend (who uses the coffee machine the most)
• Most cheerful
• Biggest joker (who makes the most jokes at reception).

Where and when is the Churchill Square 20^th anniversary party?

The event will take place on 8th September 2022 between 12 and 2pm for customers and guests only. You will find the festivities in the outdoor car parking space next to B80 in Churchill Square.
