We have business centres in three of the UK’s top 10 cities for wellbeing
Employee wellbeing should be top of the agenda for enterprise owners and leaders as it can substantially impact your business’s success. Recent research by Business Financed on the UK’s best towns and cities for employee wellbeing has found that three of our centres are located in cities in the top 10: Milton Keynes (ranked 4th), Chelmsford (ranked 7th) and Colchester (ranked 9th) out of 86 surveyed cities. Here’s how these cities score so highly, and why employee wellbeing matters.
Importance of employee wellbeing
Employee wellbeing is inextricably linked to productivity, employee retention and recruitment as happy, healthy employees will be much more motivated and engaged. The proof is in the numbers: according to Business in the Community, The Prince’s Responsible Business Network, those FTSE 100 companies which prioritise employee wellbeing and engagement outperform the rest of the FTSE 100 by 10%.
