Investing in our customers: Enhancing facilities across our business centres
At Capital Space, we understand the importance of creating environments that support productivity, comfort, and professionalism. That’s why we are constantly investing in our facilities to ensure our customers benefit from modern, well-maintained, and welcoming spaces.
During 2024 we completed several improvement projects across our sites, plus we joined groups that encourage customers to network with other businesses in the area.
Churchill Square Business Centre
At Churchill Square, we focused on refurbishment, exterior improvements and redecorating:
- Refurbishment: Boiler systems were upgraded, along with air conditioning installations in seven blocks. A new speed ramp and updated fire alarms were introduced to improve safety and accessibility.
- Exterior: To improve the outdoor environment, we repaired the car park, installed a welcome board, and upgraded the drainage systems for Buildings 60 and 30. Additionally, a freshly redecorated bench outside Building 40 adds a welcoming touch.
- Redecoration: We transformed the communal corridor in Building 80, redecorated the meeting and upgraded the TV in Meteor meeting room.
Churchill Square has also joined the local Women in Business Network for Maidstone and Kings Hill after Toni Wilkinson the , the centre manager, attended an event. The network aims to create opportunities for female business owners to network and share ideas.
Toni’s first meeting was a great success: “I was a bit nervous being surrounded by so many accomplished women, each with their own incredible journeys in life and business, but I quickly realised I had nothing to fear. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the support and acceptance from these amazing women was truly empowering.”
She added: “I’m excited to attend future events to continue building my confidence, and I’m eager to share more about how Churchill Square Business Centre can help fellow entrepreneurs with meeting room usage, office space, or virtual services. Here’s to many more connections and opportunities to support one another!”
These improvements, as well as the addition of the WIBN, make Churchill Square an even more efficient and comfortable environment for all our customers to grow their businesses.
